yes Mark, it did help - thanks.
I also defined a tooltip stylesheet so that I can style it as I like with:
<$wikify name="answer" text=<> >

As a side effect, however, my original tiddler (now converted into data
type) has lost its previous formatting.

Hi
I have the following problem:
a tiddler has a number of lines, each containing text formatted as follows:
word: definition
I would like to apply a function to this tiddler so that
each definition gets hidden (e.g. as a tooltip or blanked) and a definition
is revealed

Hi there!
When I drop to import the following tiddler (saved in JSON format in a txt
file)

into a wiki (TW5 version 5.0.15), I get different behaviours in FF (31) and
Chrome (36) on Windows 8.1.
Unlike Chrome, FF does not recognise the tiddler.

What file extension have you given the file? I tried it with a file called
test.json and the import worked in both Chrome and Firefox.
Best wishes

Your best bet here is to use the NODEJS version.
Import your old wiki into your node instance (just drag and drop as
usual) and you will automatically get all the tiddlers in separate files. I
use it in combination with dropbox.

Hi everybody
we all know that tiddlywiki superbly combines program and data in
one compact, portable html file.
However, as more and more features are added to the program, I've been
looking at ways
to backup my data, in case the html file accidentally gets corrupted.

Hi Jeremy
I've noted a minor issue with the Save changes icon.
When you open a tiddler for edit, the icon becomes immediately red.
If you close the tiddler without actually changing anything,
the icon stays red, thus suggesting there was a change.
Also if you discard any changes made, the

thanks for the reply.
Do you mean because or and?
Personally, when I search for a tag, I would type its first few letters.
If many spurious results crop up, I wouldn't consider the filter
