Hi all,

During the Hangout yesterday there was some discussion about:
1) the layout of the tiddler in edit mode (tagging on top, fields at the
bottom, with alpha15 an extra 'type' box at the bottom)
2) the preview mode (not enough space by splitting vertically)
3) the way tagging is done (in edit or view mode, showing the list, ...

I will give my thoughts about these issues, based on the way I work.

Normally I enter text and click Done to see the result (I never use the
preview mode).
Then I reopen the tiddler to add tags and fields, so I am in favour of
adding tags, fields, ... in View mode.
It also gives a 'cleaner' Edit mode: just text.
In TWc I use Tobias Beer's TagSearchPlugin [1] and I have to say I love it.
It presents a very configurable popup screen.
I can imagine that for TW5 adding tags, fields and type could be done
together in such a popup screen in View mode.

As already mentioned, I never use the preview mode.
But if somebody needs it, I think splitting the areas horizontally will be
better than splitting them vertically.

Just my thoughts.

Cheers,

Ton
