Tried your suggestion, but no luck. Tried many variations. According to
wikipedia:
A file URL takes the form of file://host/path where host is the fully
qualified domain name of the system on which the path is accessible, and path
is a hierarchical directory path of the form
that's too bad. Never noticed the need for the third slash, good to know.
will continue to watch this group to see if anything changes. I haven't
actually tried the plugin.
