As I have said before I always learn more than just the resolution of my
problems from you.
Match tags seem to give me problems with all my special character tags,
which I tried to use to differentiate system tiddlers and system tags from
Data tiddlers, and although as you discovered

I spoke too soon. I seems that I actually *do* allow tags that start
with "=" to be used to track a checkbox state.
