Hi All. I'm just bumping this because this is driving me crazy. I can find a number of references to there being a command line option to have TiddlyDeskTop open a TiddlyWiki, but I can't find any actually reference to what that command line is! :-) Thanks, Ian. On Tuesday, 9 June 2020 at 21

Bumping this as having read the resulting conversation, it still doesn't seem like there is a solution. (It's possible that the command line thing could have something relevant to doing this but I'm not sure how myself.) It would be very nice to remove that extra step of opening the list to open

*Tony* I don't think that's the issue on Mac at least, you can always switch back to the manager by clicking the mini cat icon on the top macOS status bar and click "Wiki list". So the idea is simple, I (and I guess their people who have their main TW note) would like the note open automaticall

Edgaras I forgot to add. With an association and command line options I can add an option on html files to open with, rather than the default browser, however I have also used a .tw extension which if sent to a browser, and I expect tiddlydesktop it still opens as it is defined as html internal

Edgaras Yes different but the same because if you do use more than one you do need a way to get into the manager. If you can make an icon or command line to open the default you get your default wiki.I Actualy launch tiddlydesktop in startup sometimes so my first click opens my key wiki. Perha

*Tony* I think you meant something else, but that would be also very good! I actually meant, I would like to have the default file option in TiddlyDesktop, so whenever I open TiddlyDesktop, it opens my default TW note file.:) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Goog

Edgaras I am not aware of one, I would like a command line option to "Open With" TiddlyDesktop as well. TiddlyDesktop runs on Windows, linux or Mac which may explain why the command line is not more detailed. Jeremy is the creator and I raised this issue here
