Hi.
Some additional info, the starting process breaks on the missing file:
natives_blob.bin in nw.js. which is used by libnode.so.
This file natives_blob.bin is not distributed in nw.js since v 0.45.x.
So if you overwrite, use the 0.44.x version.
Have a nice day, Okido

thanks Okido,
I downloaded & tried to run nw.js by itself. It wouldn't run, exited with
errors. I posted the terminal output above. Some problem possibly related
to nw.js dependencies maybe. I don't rely on logs; I run from the CL with
--verbose option if needed.

Hi,
I can confirm that something is broken or missing in TiddlyDesktop v14 on
Linux.
There is the following work around:
Download the nw.js package from your choice at https://nwjs.io/.
Unpack the compressed file, copy all files to the TiddlyDesktop folder and
overwrite all, except
I feel that vsn 14 might be a bit buggy. Can't remember the details, but I
seem to recall others having problems. That error message looks like some
important library file is missing.
Possibly worth trying v 13 which works for me on xubuntu.

Thanks Tony,
I don't know anything about nw but no .exe files in Linux. I did try it
before & have rebooted but still the same error. What other information
would be useful? I'm not familiar with nw.js but I see that it's apparently
part of Chrome.

Jeffery,
I do not have that platform and can do little to help, however given the
message I would consider checking your desktop startup process is not
launching nw.exe, and rebooting because it looks as if the problem is
multiple instances. Or do you have another device trying to access the
