Hi Adrian
Looking forward to the node-webkit built, Jeremy. Speaking of, I was
thinking that TiddlyWiki would be a great documentation system for
LightTable (also a node-webkit app). Just today, a new version was released
which formalizes plugins and I'm guessing integrating TW in there would
I've been using tiddlywiki to study chinese medicine and I know it can be
much more powerful that I can make use of it right now.
Right now I'm using tags to do everything, but I suspect that I could use

Mario, I open your link and see there are comments embedded in the space.
Please advise to put comments embedded in TS. I am still working out since

I just started using 5.0.6 and noticed that sometimes the notification when
saving a local wiki does not vanish.
At the moment I do not know how to reproduce, but maybe someone here also
noticed and knows?
Will post as soon as I find how to reproduce this error.

Hi Jeremy
We were in meetings all of Tues and Weds and I missed the hangout. My

yesterday at our debriefing.

I just restarted my FireFox 16, opened a fresh local copy of 5.0.6 and
saved it. The notification appears and remains.

Hello!
I'm new to TiddlyWiki5 and I'm looking for a way to use an image map within
my tiddlywiki.
I'd like to have an image wherein I can click on different parts of that
image to open certain tiddlers. So this is supposed to be a means of
navigation. Both the image map and the target
To be more precise it's IE9.0.8812.16421.
When I mark all, copy and paste the content into a text editor, I end up
with 270 newline-characters.
This happens at work and at home.
No problems with Firefox.
I'm almost certain, that TW 5.0.5-beta worked with IE9.

CamelCase links don't appear to work.

Hi Chris
Wiki links in markdown text are not supported yet, and there's no
straightforward way to create them.
The rough idea I had was to postprocess the HTML generated by the markdown
plugin to convert links #links into wiki links, which would mean that you'd
use exactly the syntax you
Hi! I have been using TWC in IE in a setup where all my plugins are in a

Ahhh ... never mind! I jumped the gun. Turns out, the plugins all WORK
even though the backstage plugins dropdown shows them all as not loaded
with error (This plugin has not been executed because it was added since
startup). So ... now I know just to ignore the erorr and to try the darn
I'm downloading Firefox 16 for testing but their FTP site is glacially slow
and it's going to be another 30 minutes. I think the problem is likely to
be the transitionEnd event used to remove the notification. I've changed it

Hi Jens
I'm not hopeful that TW5 will ever run properly on IE9; even though it's
better than previous versions, it's still pretty eccentric by HTML5
standards. But static HTML generated by HTML5 should work on anything, even
back to Netscape 4.
Are you able to open developer tools with F12 and

Hi Pedro
You've pretty much got it.
* Fields are not currently searchable (but the plan is that they will be)
* Fields are useful for adding a named value to a tiddler; your examples
make sense
* Fields can be transcluded as you infer: {{!!color}} or $transclude
field=color/

Hi
I wrote a simple macro for a ToDo list and I plan to use it in a number of
tiddlers. So far I was able to make it work by defining the same macro in
every tiddler, but I'm wondering if there is a way of defining the macro
just once and making it available in every tiddler.
Thanks

Any idea when the next hangout will be?
As y'all have probably figured out, I'm a rank newcomer, but I've decided
to jump into TWC because it's already mature. I'd love to have been able to
jump into TW5, but ... I'm an end user. I just won't be able to make TW5
work yet. Are questions and
lewcid.org is gone... how do I get the plugins that were there?
Basically all the plugins listed at http://tiddlywiki.squize.org/ have
their source on lewcid.org, which no longer exists. is there any other way
of getting those plugins and their documentation?

Hi,
I've been away from TW for a while, but am excited by the looks of TW5. My

module. Outside of TW, I've been using a text editor (NValt) to
