I see a pattern emerging. A post about not having all the documentation
conveniently available in one place usually results in someone creating
another place for documentation. Invariably, that place fails to gain
traction, and is maintained almost solely by it's creator.
A good way to proceed
Hi,
I'm a beginner at programming. I just set up m tiddlywiki with Node.JS. I'm
having trouble figuring out how to use commands to control TiddlyWiki. Can
someone point me to a "Hello World" step by step tutorial of how to make
command for TiddlyWiki using Node.JS? Specifically I would like to
Wonderful initiative Arlen. What is the outline like? Is the issues for

foresee being included in repo wiki?

Interesting idea. After seeing your email, I created a repository where we
can all collaborate and collect information concerning the documentation of
TiddlyWiki. I thought it might give us a central place to start working
until we find a good solution to our current dilemma :)
Hi G,
This answer should be interesting to you.

Also, if you are already looking at Tiddler 4, there is no need to mention
the title of Tiddler 4 in the table x times.
All you need is a definition list of your relations and
TiddlyWiki's will run on Android with either Firefox browser (probably
other browsers too) or the app AndTidWiki. The app allows the text to flow
to fit the screen edges better. I'm pretty sure you can then use Dropbox to
sync your file, though I usually either connect via usb connector and my
Andreas, thanks for informative reply!
Yes, in deed one can make ones own editor buttons - even if I have not yet
attempted to do so, so really thanks for the write-up. I agree with David
that this should definitely go into the Docs - would you mind making a pull
request?
A thing I like with
Perfect, thanks!
But why isn't tiddlyText interpreted like in tiddlers?

Hi Thomas, hi all...
I am still searching a way to create multiple Tiddlers by iterating
different numbers to extract numbered slices from a tiddler.
At least I managed to update my TW so that you can see my experiment which

Hi Mario
That's indeed what I use. Your remark with regards to the recursion having
a performance drawback got me thinking.
I have finally accomplished what I was looking for. What I'm in the end am
trying to accomplish is to see if we can use TiddlyWiki as a way to gather

Hi Christoph,
1) You can use the|list-after|and|list-before|fields on a tiddler to
influence in which order they are displayed. See [1] for more
documentation on this.
2) Take a look at|$:/core/macros/toc|... I am not sure how familiar with
macros and widgets you are (I'm guessing not that
Hello!
I'm trying to play around with TiddlyWiki and am currently testing editing
the View template of tiddlers.
I created a tiddlers with the tag "$:/tags/ViewTemplate" and it is
correctly transcluded in every tiddlers at the place I want. But it doesn't
display a table as I would like it to.
Hi
I load wikis in my browser (laptop and mobile) at home. They stay there with
full functionality as long as I don’t close the tab.
TWEdit is a nice tool too. Still working for me.
Have fun!
