The basic problem is that you have no way of installing tiddlydrive or any
other extensions on Google Drive from Android. The Android Chome browser
version does not allow you to install any extensions.

Using Andtidwiki. I have installed the mobile drag/drop shim but I don't
understand how to use it. Can somebody give me an example?

I've been following the discussions of different techniques to use to backup
your tiddlywiki from multiple devices. My primary problem is that I have become
mostly an Android user, only occasionally going to my TW from a computer. This
is a technique that is currently working well for me. I use
Tw 5.1.15. I have not been able to export in JASON format. When I have
attempted to do so, I only get a two byte file that consists of [] (open and
closing brackets). There are no options apparently to select tiddlers for
export or even get a JASON backup with all tiddlers. What am I doing

Still looking for an Android browser that allows Tiddly Wiki saves. All the
other workarounds just seem to be added aggravation. I'm still using andtidwiki.

A suggestion to help you get more help;
Which GtD TW application are you using? Monkey and D3 are two
recently mentioned of the many TW variants supported by this group;
which variant are you using? Also, what size index cards are you

I'm not using MGTD and have a fairly simple system, but it may give
you some ideas. I do not have an export to anything other than cut/
paste text. I basically have three types of tiddlers;
- workunits (think trouble tickets, projects, tasks)
- timeperiod status reports (a day's activities)

I've been thinking about your problem and while it might not be the
answer, this is worth a try; on some browsers, to save a TW, you need
to have the TiddlySaver.jar file. You can get it downloaded from
http://tiddlywiki.com/ in the Safari on Mac installation guidelines.
I haven't tried this
I'm very disappointed in this situation myself. So, I posted the
following question on the Android Forums.

Hopefully we will get a definitive response.

Andy, If you want an answer to this question, you would probably be
better off in a new thread. N900 users aren't likely to read a thread
on Android - they aren't running it. Are there N900 forums you can
ask on and report back?
