[tw] Fold/Unfold bars on border of Tiddlers?

2017-11-25 Thread Robert Barker
I cannot figure out how DropBoard's demo site has fold/unfold "bars" on
each tiddler? (for lack of better description). Is it a custom view
template or something I'm missing? I've experimentally installed a lot of
plugins while exploring TiddlyWiki, and this is the only example of it I've
found:

https://reidgould.github.io/tiddlywiki-dropboard/

Note: on each tiddler's left and bottom margin, a >> or ^^ icon appears on
a rectangular bar to fold or unfold that tiddler (It's slick, and
personally preferable to me than view toolbar).

Thanks! I'm a couple years behind on the TiddlyCurve!

Rob

[tw] Re: [Plugin] Dropboard 1.0.0 — Kanban like organization in the style of Trello using boards, lists, and cards.

2017-11-25 Thread Robert Barker
Hi! I recently gave DropBoard a try. Very Clever!

I posted the question to the group regarding the Fold/Unfold borders on
your demo's tiddlers. Would you mind sharing how that is done? Your site
is the only example I've seen of it.

I incorporated Dropboard with as many useful plugins I could find, as
experiment to learn and see how stable customizing TiddlyWiki is in doing
so.

One "incompatibility" I came across is with TiddlyMap's plugins. The
TopStoryRiver plugin seems to affect Dropboard and cause a JavaScript error
(took a little narrowing down). Although, now I have TopStoryView disabled
and both appear to be functioning (today). Prior tests disabled resulted
in TiddlyMap's live view displaying blank. Enabled TopStoryView, DropBoard
manipulation would result in a JavaScript error.

Otherwise, I can confirm there's no issue with virtually anything else (and
I installed alot of 'em! haha..impractical for everyday use).

[tw] Update.html question - resulting update header on Wiki

2017-11-11 Thread Robert Barker
Sorry if I'm missing something obvious! I updated a 5.1.11 wiki to 5.1.14
using the update.html. It seems to work, however the resulting wiki shows
a Update/Save header on the Wiki, which I cannot conceal or turn off? (the
one with green save button).

Thanks!

[tw] How? Question for a feature on TobiBeer's site?

2017-11-20 Thread Robert Barker
Hello! I'm relatively new to TiddlyWiki, and have been exploring the
various plugins, tips, examples on the various popular links. However, one
item has me baffled (so to speak)...On TobiBeer's TW-5 plugins
site...example: (The tiddler title function, not the function described
within the example)

http://tobibeer.github.io/tw5-plugins/#contains

Some tiddlers with relation to a parent have a ">>" next to the title which
links to another untagged tiddler with the "parentname-childname". I like
it, but cannot figure out how it functions? Not the end of the world, but
figure I'm missing something...and after walking through a bunch of others,
I'm now determined to find out!

The tiddler's title is Contains and displays as: "Contains >> Info |
Examples | Install", each linked to Contains-Info, Contains-Examples,
Contains-Install...

Did I miss a "page"?

Thanks!

Rob

[tw5] Re: CSS for last char of tiddler title?

2018-10-14 Thread 'Robert Barker' via TiddlyWiki
Thanks for the reply. For some reason, title style changes do not seem to
apply regardless of standard change like text color or {after} , only had
luck with general stuff without tc.title like background on whole tiddler
or having styled "Content" appended to the tiddler itself.
This is on a blank copy from editions v5.1.17.

[tw5] CSS for last char of tiddler title?

2018-10-13 Thread 'Robert Barker' via TiddlyWiki
Amateur here, wondering if someone has a hint for me regarding CSS styling
of a tagged tiddler?

The desired outcome is for the last character of a Tiddler title display in
a different color, and preferably bold. More specifically, a red period
appended to the end of certain tiddlers (period can simply be shown/added
as suffix, not necessarily included in typed title). No other character is
necessary - simply a style that is used across other formatted non-wiki
documents: i.e. Markdown/Microsoft Office.

Thanks for any consideration. This is simply a formatting request stemming
from trying to match a styled document set, not the end of the world.

Example: (i,e, Tiddler tagged: "Period")

Tiddler Title. --> Tiddler Title*. (period typed in title)*

or

Tiddler Title --> Tiddler Title*. (period appended or displayed only)*

[tw5] Windows shortcut to open editable wiki?

2018-11-11 Thread 'Robert Barker' via TiddlyWiki
Hi, I'm trying to find a decent method to automatically open an editable
wiki at Windows startup (for anyone using a machine who isn't familiar with
various saving mechanisms in browsers, primarily the download at save).
This is an attempt to encourage a IT team to habitually use a wiki as a
change/maintenance log on several servers. I can setup something centrally
and train, however would like it as simple as possible (like the wiki is).

I tend to use Tidldly Chrome - "Ungoogled Chromium" with TiddlyChrome
extension (as latest Chome and friends seem to have lost the Tiddly Chrome
plugin compatibility, and this is the only remaining option I found which
works)...I haven't found a way to shortcut the plugin with auto-open wiki
file.

My best option seems to use Node.js package I recently tried from
Tiddlywiki promoted plugins "Bobwin.exe" - pretty slick package to run as
webserver and simple use web shortcut from same machine or as webserver.
It easily allows multiple "sites", if I import the base plugins and
tiddlers for uniformity.

Any other suggestions?
