Interesting. ... You could create a "backdrop" tiddler like this:
title: $:/config/EmptyStoryMessage
{{HelloThere||$:/core/ui/ViewTemplate}}
With this configuration, the "HelloThere" tiddler will be allways on, if
the story is empty.
