The div method doesn't seem to work for external videos.
I have realized that you can use:

I don't know about TW documentation wise--
but some non TW ideas that may help -- I use the old html video container
div trick for iframes in tiddlers
perhaps having the transclusion inside a container div-- haven't tried it
yet, divs seem to work for containing content
