[tw5] Re: NoteSelf Official Forum

2018-05-07 Thread @TiddlyTweeter
Ciao Danielo

I think it makes a lot of sense to have a dedicated forum for Noteself.

I don't think Google Groups is any good at CUMULATIVE support. Noteself is
an app that needs that--so that knowledge and understanding of what it does
and how it works can grow in a way that directly supports end-users.

I'll comment there when I feel I have something to say. Overall, I'm glad
Noteself is getting more of the attention it deserves.

Best wishes
Josiah

Yes it is Discourse.

Thanks for your suggestions Tony. I'll check if I can incorporate what you
said.

I have no idea of what a Yammer network is.

Danielo,

I have signed up and keen to participate. I applaud your activities to
improve the communications. I would like to encourage more focused
communication channels.

Can I suggest you inform David Gifford to add this to his dynallist
at https://dynalist.io/d/zUP-nIWu2FFoXH-oM7L7d9DM

Personally I can make do with the google forums, which I use online, not
via email. I would hope it not be too TiddlyWiki General while we still use
the Google forums. But it may be a good Proof of concept.
Personally I favour a Yammer network, and I can provide one.

A question

   - What forum tool are you using ?
   - I will ask a more complex NoteSelf related Question over there

A Suggestion

   - Make it even clearer on the page it is the NoteSelf forum if possible.
I like other use so many formum It would be helpful, including adding
NoteSelf to the browser Tab text.

Good work

Regards
Tony
