Drag and Drop, Past, Crtl V, it is all very similar. The Import process is 
also highly customisable. If I have a little more detail I can possibly 
provide a solution.

At first I thought this was a browser setting, FF saves untitled images as 
images.png

The name of paste content that brings up the import tiddler ($:/Import) is 
controlled by what template it uses for import-- if you look into 
$:/Import, it has a json format of the image you're pasting and the title 
entry is image.png ("grafik.png").

Didn't see any obvious settings for importing and file names.

Hi Tony,

It's not about import tiddler, but to paste clipboard with an image. I just 
see this recently, and it's super cool.
But indeed there is no mechanism to check if the name is not already taken, 
and that could add a numbering (a bit like the existing one with the 
tiddlers creation function).

If you install the bundle plugin of marios, it has two features you can 
use. One is in its settings use overwrite protection and imported tiddlers 
will not overwrite existing ones.

You can activate the import bundle and record all your imported tiddlers

Along with its other features.
