The difference is much greater than that. The 2100F has a large
number of chips that aren't populated, that are in the 2100T. Also,
the 2100T has its front end filters graded for delay times. There
are a few more buttons on the front panel of the 2100T than are on
the 2100F.

I used the HP signature analyzer and found a bad data bus buffer chip is short
order. I'm sure it would also identify a bad EPROM chip.

Well, my Austron 2100 seems to have bit the dust. The indication of trouble
is that the 1pps light quit blinking. After some debug it appears that all
the hardware is working (I have the manual with schematics) and that it is
not getting a software pulse that diddles a flip
