Can anyone provide info on a source for manuals for Tektronix 1240 logic
analyzer and HP 8565A spectrum analyzer?
Also information on probes and output connections for the Tek 1240 would be
appreciated.

Got to http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/08565-90014.pdf and you can
download the ops service manual for the 8565A. It starts out with the
installation notes for an attenuator upgrade, but scroll down in the file and
you'll find the ops and service info.

It is not a rechargeable battery. It is a lithium iodide
pacemaker cell, and when it dies, it blows corrosive material
all over the place. It is soldered onto the CPU card. They are
available in two different packages: One is a welded stainless steel
disk, about 1-1/2 inches in

Oops! I read changing to be charging.
The only data the cells protect is user setups. There is
no calibration data at risk.
