Ahhh, full screen mode... the demon mode from hell. On most modern systems
with large monitors it crashed the program. It uses DirectDraw and if your
DirectDraw implementation does not handle your monitor size, bye bye Heather.
That means full screen mode (or clicking the MAXIMIZE button or

As I e-mailed earlier, the cause was ticking the wrong shortcut.
Once I ticked the right one, it opened up.
NOW, how does one get it to run in full screen mode. I tried the /f

Any ideas ?

The error message in question came from the IPCONN::connect() method in
ipconn.cpp. That particular code (11004) is returned by gethostbyname() when
it fails to resolve a DNS name. Normally, when Heather tries to connect to the
test server, gethostbyname() is used to turn "ke5fx.dyndns.org"
I grep'd all the source code and there is no 11004 anywhere in the program...

Hmm, no, that shouldn't affect anything. Sounds like a DNS issue of some kind,
presumably (but not necessarily) at your end. Try again?

The first problem with leap seconds is that you need a list of them, and that

Hi,
I know this has been asked about a few times over the years, but I've
not been able to find any user or service manuals for an Austron 2010B
to download anywhere - anyone know of any?
Thanks,
Angus.

I have had some success with Perl DateTime CPAN module's support for leap
seconds - doing time delta math without using Unix Epoch Seconds properly
handles leap seconds.
Converting back and forth to Unix Epoch time works as well as it can (given

It also supports the concept of a

The /rxx command says to run without a receiver. It turns Heather into a
glorified system clock display. Use /rxk for the Lucent.
Also your time zone command is wrong. Use /tz=EST5EDT or /tz=-5EST/EDT
The life time is shown near the middle of the screen as part of the

When I enter /rxx=17 it corrects leap second but the screen changes from all

back?
Is it possible to read the total life operating time
