Just bought two for US99.98 (UK ~£66) with free shipping. Good deal. Will be
interesting to see how they perform. Also interesting to know what FEI are
currently quoting for new units. Last time I got a quote from them (5
years+) I was quoted over UK£1K each in single qty.

I was going to ask a similar question as I have a Fujitsu Siemens LOOX 420
pocket PC. Wouldn't probably make more than £10 on EBay, so it's worth more
to me to do something like this with it.

Any frequency counter will have an given accuracy +/- the LSD (least
significant digit), so alternating between 10.000 and 9.999 looks
perfectly normal to me.

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S II, which I'm very impressed with.
Have just found an NTP client on the Android Market which seems to work OK.
Will investigate further.

Hi Nigel,
I'm very interested. At £50 for the lot, it sounds a good deal.
Let me know ASAP.

The ET6000 used Trimble Bullet antennae when I was selling them in the UK. I
seem to remember about 35db of gain in that antenna.

Bruce,
I'm wondering whether there may be a glitch in the firmware supplied on that
unit. The fact that it worked fine up until the other day, and then reverted
its date seems rather odd. I don't believe it's anything to do with cross
