I agree, the new version 3.70 at last does not suffer from excessive
NMEA latency.
It looks like our messages to Garmin finally got through David.
Last night I did a 12 Hr test of the NMEA latency with the new 3.70

Thanks for your reply at this time we have not been made aware on a
release date for any up coming software updates. The problem you have
been having is something which has been passed onto our engineers in the
US so they are aware of it.
