Another one that might make the half century is the 3458A 8.5 digit multimeter which is 33 this year. It's just had an update and is still competitive in its own right, not just for legacy reasons. Angus. On Mon, 17 Jan 2022 07:23:17 -0800, you wrote: >Louis, > >Keep an eye on the 5071A. It

About 20-30 years ago it was possible to identify video recorders that made particular videos by analysing the transients as the recorder switched heads when they rotated on the drum in the recorder. Apparently no two recorders had exactly the same pattern. Now of course, obsolete. Morris

Hi Stacking switchers is generally not a good idea. Even stacking them with non-switchers is not a recommended way to go. Can it be done? Sure, if you know a lot about exactly what’s inside the switcher …. Best approach: Convert all the this and that to some voltage > 20 V and then do the

Ed thats quite a story and good to read. But a bit hard to follow to actually answer your question that appears not to need a answer now. The diode switch makes sense. But I think you need another diode to stop the converter from seeing the large filter cap. A thought at least. Switching

Since back in October, I've been working on getting the Z3801A in a 5065A carcass project closer to completion. I mostly finished the clock control board and other details, and moved on to the power system. I decided to completely redo a lot of the mechanical arrangement, wiring, and the line

Hi Based on what I’m hearing, we should be able to see a “wobble” in GPS time due to the likely impact on the upper atmosphere. No idea if that has been observed or is simply somebodies hunch. Bob > On Jan 19, 2022, at 2:26 PM, stefan.hegna...@gmx.ch wrote: > > I saw this on my graphs and
