The kind of DC-DC converter I'm talking about is often called a brick. That's
a standard size, roughly 2x2x1/2 inches. The older ones
The standard config for telecom equipment that runs on +24V or -48V is that
they have an isolated input DC-DC converter in them. The input voltage goes
through a full bridge rectifier that makes them insensitive to input voltage
polarity. On the ones that I have played with they worked fine
The power supply is auto sensing and spec'd at +24V or -48V, which implies the
polarity would be the same in either case, but the auto sensing doesn't seem to
imply sensing right across that range.
24 V range is 22 to 28 V at 6A, -48V range is -40.5 to -57V at 3A, I don't

There is a large collection of DC-DC converters available. A 2:1 range on the
input voltage is common, but they usually are centered on

Thank you for your kind explanation.I was just intrigued by those connectors
that I didn't know.
It's also possible to rescue 6 VCOs from micro circuits and perhaps
others components hidden behind their shield.

Hi Everyone,
Could someone help me identify connectors used on LMU300 from TruePosition?
A picture can be found on http://www.on4jln.be/connector.jpg
Thanks for your help.
