Or, if you didn't want to log into or use the cluster you could start TLF using
the -n switch i.e. $tlf -n
That is what I do as I don't use the cluster and operate in contest un-assisted.

Second way to work without cluster connection is to comment out all
keywords like 'TELNETHOST',
