Hi Richard, thank you for clarifying the details. I've looked at the sources, and it seems this function is broken since ca. 2008. I didn't observed the source code history to the end but fixed the problem in the current code base. The new release 0.7.3 contains the fix. Thanks for the fast response. What TN used to do is when we had 3 tabs open with 3 different connections and we closed TN those 3 tabs would open up when we reopen TN5250. So for example, we have 3 partitions, Main, Dev and web. The users used to open there TN and 3 tabs would open with signon for the three systems. Now that we updated from 0.6.X to 0.7.X only one tab of the original 3 open. The other 2 do not open now that the NPE issue has been fixed. If we open 4 tabs and have emul . startLastView = set to anything (true or TRUE) close Tn5250J and open again, only one tab opens not the 4 that we had open. Hello Martin, Thanks for the quick reply. 1.7.0_21 is displayed after giving the command java -version I have Windows XP installed on my lap top. Hello Ewart, the problem of a hanging start looks strange to me and I wasn't ware of this issue. Even though I can't reproduce it at my develop mashine. What version of Java you're using?
