I have 2 virtual doamins and when I send mail to theses domains the smtp-auth isn't required, only to external domains the smtp-auth is required. This is correct ? Exists any mode to enable smtp-auth for all domains also the my virtuals domains!? greats Carlos -- ___ Pruonckk le Punk UIN: 165399143 MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] /home /docs /fotos: http://www.pruonckk.org _ Liberdade, Igualdade, Respeito __
Re: [toaster] Auth problems
can you try compile the courier-imap without authdaemons and with authvchkpw Em Seg, 2005-07-11 às 16:11 -0700, Micah Abrams escreveu: list: I recently setup a new mail server using the howto on shupp.org. For the most part, everything seems to be working fine however, I am now receiving random reports of people being prompted for their username/password. When I check the logs, I see the enteries like this: Jun 24 13:38:55 mail1 vpopmail[29529]: vchkpw-pop3: vpopmail user not found [EMAIL PROTECTED]:xx.xxx.xxx.xxx The account is valid and if the user retries their password it allows them to login. Have any of you experienced this? This mail server hosts quite a few accounts (500) and receives quite a bit of spam. We would like to add more users to the server, but need to get this issue resolved first. I have searched google but have come up empty handed. As you can imagine this is becoming quite a headache for customer service. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Micah
