I think that's because of a few files which won't build with 1.2 (but will with
1.3), which is a problem with Craig's build env (he's using 1.2.2).
Wait until he gets back from J1 ;)
If you are in hurry remove the two files:
jakarta-tomcat-4.0/catalina/src/share/org/apache/catalina/util/ProcessHelper.java
jakarta-tomcat-4.0/catalina/src/share/org/apache/catalina/servlets/CGIServlet.java
The porblem is localized there.
