I added a system.out to display my session Id and we get a different one each time. here is the exact sys out: System.out.println("ControllerUtil: aRequest.getSession().getId(): " + aRequest.getSession().getId()); We need to maintain the same session in order to retrieve the error codes that might be writtent to the session.
