getRequestURL does not return a port number is request scheme is different then http 
or https

I'm forwarding this report to the Servlet API feedback address 
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) because this class is part of the standard 
Servlet API.

Two other things to note:

* This class is deprecated as of Servlet 2.3, in favor of using
  HttpServletRequest.getRequestURL().

* The Tomcat implementation of HttpServletRequest.getRequestURL()
  is implemented in the manner you suggest.
