Hi Schalk, coming to your problem of JSP recompiling, once refresh your browser or delete your page cache in explorer.This may solve ur problem. And coming to SQL server part,the SQL Server driver has some bugs which implements the queries in a very different way.You can see that clearly in SQL server's profiler.
May be Source Forge's driver may help u.
