The tomcat manager comes up at http://localhost:60/manager/html with no problems.
When I go to one of the contexts that I have loaded as a sample app, the jsp comes up

Well, i am back at it this morning. As far as I can tell, the jdk from sun
is for developers, the javasoft jre is a public runtime engine. I removed
references to the javasoft one from the path to ensure that the only one
that Tomcat saw was the JDK environment. A lot of the messages that I

NO! As I said before, do not download the J2EE package from Sun - you
don't need it, and it can only mess up Tomcat
I am trying to load tomcat 3 on a windows 98 platform.
I have been sitting in this chair for two days now!!! It just will not load.
I generated all this by putting hold.txt at the end of the run command in the
tomcat.bat file. The DOS windows scroll by and leave me with nothing to look at.
