Well, i am back at it this morning. As far as I can tell, the jdk from sun is for developers, the javasoft jre is a public runtime engine. I removed references to the javasoft one from the path to ensure that the only one that Tomcat saw was the JDK environment. A lot of the messages that I

I am trying to load tomcat 3 on a windows 98 platform. I have been sitting in this chair for two days now!!! It just will not load. I generated all this by putting hold.txt at the end of the run command in the tomcat.bat file. The DOS windows scroll by and leave me with nothing to look at. ERROR
