Tomcat 5 JBoss

2003-10-28 Thread harm
Is there any way to run JBoss with Tomcat 5 instead of 4.1.27? I'm using JBoss 3.2.2. I would like to switch to 5 because of the hotswap debugging feature. Thanks, Harm de Laat Informatiefabriek The Netherlands

Re: Why not to create threads?

Because the appliction server does this for you. If you interfere by using your own threads you could break stuff... (it's a spec violation too). Also you should use an application server for scheduling components. (We use JBoss MXBeans for this purpose). Regards, Harm de Laat

bind tomcat to specific ip

2003-10-09 Thread harm
Hi all, Is it possible to bind Tomcat to a specific IP? I'm asking because I have one single machine which runs 2 webservers (Lotus Domino and Tomcat), both on port 80. My machine has two IP's. I'm using tomcat 4.1.27 (integrated in JBoss 3.2.2RC4). Thanks, Harm de Laat Informatiefabriek

this buffer runs full and the server stops working. The problem disapears when you don't give your dos window focus. Or atleast don't click in it. Hope this helps. Cheers, Harm de Laat Informatiefabriek The Netherlands Vijay Pawar [EMAIL PROTECTED] 06/11/2003 07:28 AM Please respond
