Well, i am back at it this morning. As far as I can tell, the
jdk from sun is for developers, the javasoft jre is a public
runtime engine.
I don't think there is such a thing as javasoft
', set env, etc., it fired up rather quickly. Many thanks to all those

I have been sitting in this chair for two days now!!! It just will not load.
I generated all this by putting hold.txt at the end of the run command in the
tomcat.bat file. The DOS windows scroll by and leave me with nothing to look at.
