Are you saying the connectors from Tomcat 3 work with Tomcat 4? Because
Tomcat 4 doesn't include any ajp connectors as far as I can tell. How
is this setup?

It seems to me that mod_webapp.so is not ready to be used. I've spent a
lot of time trying to get it to work, and I can get it to work somewhat,
but it doesn't seem to properly pass form fields from apache to tomcat.
