Better to put the jar or put a link to the jar in the WEB-INF/lib directory
for your web app, that way you won't forget the dependancies when packaging
and deploying, and you won't clutter up your library search paths with stuff
unnecessary to other apps.

Sorry about that.
Finally... I got Tomcat 4 under Win2000 working with JavaService. It turns
out that the service just can't use mapped network drives (for obvious
reasons) and I had a mapped drive reference in server.xml.

What has changed? Why does the first example no longer work?
