tomcat ignores the classpath setting. place the .jar file in
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/root/web-inf/lib
i hope that'll work

thats the point: it doesn't recompile even
the reason for that? I for myself don't have a clue- I'm

Troubles with the list: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
with reading init params
You actually read them from ServletContext not from the ServletConfig.
You can get the Servlet Context by doing...
ServletContext sc = getServletContext();
