i managed to integrate java in php-scripts (php version 4.1.2 and 4.2.3)
for executing under Apache-Webserver (version 1.3.22 and 2.0.42).
i heard that php-scripts with integrated java can be handled by
tomcat as a servlet.
does anybody know how to integrate php (version = 4.1.2) as

for (all interacting!):
- apache 2.0.42
- php 4.2.3
- java2sdk 1.4.1.01
- tomcat 4.1.12
- java integration in php-scripting (for apache 1.3.22 and 2.0.42 tested)
functioning under apache, not as a servlet under

forgot to mention that my installation document has also all actual
internet download addresses for all needed installation-files.

before installing i read this e-mail and your corresponding installation
instruction.
your e-mail says:
To fix it just replace both class path lines in the [VM] section of
workers2.properties with the following.
OPT=-Djava.class.path=c:/Tomcat/bin/tomcat-jni.jar;c:/Tomcat/server/lib/comm
to the
jvm.dll in the vm section of workers2.properties. Also I had to set the
channel socket in the jk2.properties.
Could be that all these things are not required but it now works for me.

The '\' slashes seem to work ok for Win2K but probably would not work
for non-windows boxes.
