I am new to this group, but I have a problem: I am trying to compile my jsps using the following command java -classpath javax.servlet.jar:jasper-compiler.jar:jasper-runtime.jar:commons-logging.jar org.apache.jasper.JspC -v8 newAccount.jsp But I am getting the following error messages: 2004-01-01 09:21:43 - uriRoot implicitly set to "/home/nis02/iikon1/ceu2200/ceunix/src/ceuadmin" 2004-01-01 09:21:43 - ERROR-the file '/jsp/newAccount.jsp' generated the following general exception: java.lang.NullPointerException error:null What am I doing wrong?
