not too sure but I think it's more an error to do with apache than mod_webapp. may be you should try the apache mailing list. Good guess!!! I did not change that. th but the error message is still persisting :(( I don't see why the module should be 755. They are not executable files anyway. All my modules are 755, but most of my other *.so files are 644. Try loading mod_webapp as the LAST module of them all. Nix.
