Hi Tod! Thanks for the data. I'd like to build up several toroid chokes for 160, 80 and 40 meter use. I looked at the Fair-Rite site, no 31 material. I looked at their vendors and went to Amidon ...amidoncorp.com/items/19 Amidon does have F Material Ferrite Toroids High Saturation flux density

RonL A follow up to my earlier response with respect to measuring the chokes using an AMI 4170. This afternoon I measured two chokes with the AIM 4170 and ploted the results on the two cores, 4 turns and two cores, 5 turns graphs to show the results compared with the measurements I made
