KL7RA has built a great contest station/is a great operator. If he is on,
it should be no problem to work him.
He does use LOTW - I have many confirmations from Rich.
Same think for HI. KH6LC has built a great station, and uses LOTW for
confirmations.

I hope an AK contact that uses LOTW shows up and I can work them from MI.
That would give me WAS on 160m CW.

Don,
Me too, also I hope whoever it is has a great receive antenna and the condx
are excellent. I have been waiting for an AK QSO on 160 for several years.
Have never even heard any here in upstate NY on my contorted inv V.
Good luck to both of us,

The CQ 160M CW and SSB contests coming up might be a good bet. I
worked, and confirmed on LOTW, WAS in one CW contest a few years back.
Good luck!

The only state I need for phone 6BWAS is Vermont on 160 phone.
Worked it many times on CW. I'll be on for
CQWW160 phone beaming Vermont, if I can find a
run frequency. The band doesn't usually open up to VT
from the left coast until at least 10PM VT time,
especially that late into the season.
This Saturday, from 1800Z-0600Z is the NAQP CW. Check 160 from about
0300Z until 0600Z. Some of those states will be there, but it would be
nice if you would work everyone you hear. The exchange is name and
state/province.

Yep, I’m planning on it. I also participated in the recent ARRL 160 contest,

And until the path to EU shuts down, almost everyone east of the Rockies
is listening in that direction.
I still need 3 for 160m WAS QRP, OR, AK HI... Every season I think
'maybe this year', and then things come up, and I don't get much time in
front of the rig.
Maybe this year ;)

Hi,
I completed WAS 160 in 2010 and worked most of the states during the
2008 and 2009 seasons.
Band was almost open to the full USA every night.
Working all states with the current propagation is a real challenge.
You might consider to wait some years till the sun calms down.
Good luck

KH6LC is active in virtually all contests, and has great ears.
For OR, look for W2VJN, K4XU/N7XU.
In AK, KL7RA seems to have the best ears.
