For me, the amp was apart I could have used the spare amp but it's too heavy for me to easily move back & forth anymore so it sits, I should sell it, AL-1500... New doorknobs, new plate choke in place and heftier padding on 160 now on my go-to amp and I'm good to go. I'll be on 160 this

as usual, I will be qrv all season.  my small, noise plagued, suburban station on 1/2 acre lot is fairly easy to maintain.  My HiZ preamps have never failed from lightning events in 10 years of use, and if my Tx marconi falls down, it's not too difficult to shoot new ropes over 2 trees. heavy
