Well done Steve. My heart was in my mouth listening to that recording,
so I can't imagine what it was like being there (actually, I can - all
serious topband ops have been there!).

Fortunately the gradual decommissioning of AM stations here in the UK

I was there that 2019 Visalia evening at WB6RSE's Topband dinner and
George's presentation on concurrent CW / FT8 on 160m blew me away too.

Hi Eric,
Long time no speak - hope you are well.
Have you looked at SimSmith? It appears to do some of the things you are
looking for. Plenty of videos on YouTube or start here perhaps:

suggested he hadn’t got us on data so we went to RTTY and then PSK and
made those slots too. The PSK QSO was almost certainly a first T32 to
KV4 - and might be the only one too.
RIP Herb, Topband is poorer without you.

Terrible news. Like Ian, I could always rely on Jack being the first NA station
to call me in a contest. The record being 3 minutes in on one CQWW160.
RIP OM.

good - but I've only ever used it to tweak a matching system,
not to take absolute readings.
I've used a loaned N8LP LP100A and that worked fine - but of course
that's an entirely different measurement system.
