I Have an inv V hanging off of my 70 foot tower. Because I live on a
suburb lot the legs of the antenna are bent to fit the lot (really ugly). I
have worked DXCC (119) with that minimal antenna. It can be done but you
have to be patient.

Thanks to all those who gave me a call/QSO this weekend. I apologize to
those that I could not hear from my suburban lot (very noisy and only a
distorted inv V).
What is the 'official' rule for the 1830-1835 segment. There were a lot of
big stations using it for their run freq.

I received a '3Y0IOF' QSL card for each band and mode for the up coming
DXpedition. The instructions say when I first hear them on any band/mode
(optional) just fill in the time.
Boy!! This sure beats having to suffer through several days of cops and
tuner uppers.

Unless you have a large area to build massive 160 meter antennas you will
probably not have that same feeling again but every 160 QSO will feel very
close to that.
