Conditions were excellent. In fact too good: Even with a directional RX antenna pointing towards NA, the EU stations were "QRM-ing" us (and calling us), until their SR. Of course, contests and DXpeditions have a way of improving conditions. 73, George, C6AGU On Sun, 17 Feb 2019 16:25:16 -0500

In a very casual non-contest contest mode I worked 14 EUs, three of them new ones for me on topband between about 0330 and 0800Z.  Also worked PY0F and LU8 for new ones.  A few extra hops and the east coast competition make it problematic for my modest station. Wes  N7WS On 2/17/2019 2:25

Hi George, I thought conditions last night (Saturday night) were very good all night long on 160 meters, with signals from Europe pretty easy copy near Indianapolis at least 45 minutes before sunset. I was only going to put a few stations in the log before heading to bed around 11pm local time

mid-week CW RTTY and SSB operating is drastically reduced on every band but contest activity is still excellent. 73 Frank W3LPL - Original Message - From: "GEORGE WALLNER" To: topband@contesting.com Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2019 5:05:04 PM Subject: Re: Topband: Lac

The bands may be quiet at times, but last night from C6AGU I had contest runs that were more like what you experience on 20 m: 180 - 200 QSO-s per hour peaks. No lack of QSO-s here. TKS and 73, George, AA7JV/C6AGU _ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband -
