There is a particular class of bypass capacitor required for the AC line, because it is subject to HV spikes from the power system. They are standard parts, rated specifically for 3-6 kV. buy from Newark, Allied, Digikey, etc. I don't recall the nomenclature off the top of my head, but it's in k9yc.com/RFI-Ham.pdf
