You bet they're nasty and strong! I sure hope you're not trying to manhandle those critters by yourself?! Google 'raccoon damage' and click Images at the top. Besides showing how destructive they can be to property, there's several photos there of people with their noses either partially or

Hi Neil, I will follow your guidelines tonight and get up at 02:00 for a couple of hours. This may do the trick. As the CQWW starts tomorrow night, this will probably be the last shot. I doubt they will be around on Monday night and my body will be shot after CQWW even if I do not

I'm pretty sure I made the Q with EP6T tonight. Some ass was keying down with others chiding him on the Tx frequency so it was hard to tell through their BS, sounded like my call coming back. I'll have to see if it shows up in their log to know for sure. There were some folks making the Q

I've used similar delay boxes for experimental RX work. Ordinary toggle switches are used as can be easily seen. These aren't anything great at RF, but should be fine at 1.8 MHz. (It is possible that the switches actually control relays, in which case there is no issue. However, all the boxes

Topband: Mathey VU-360 delay line

2015-01-22 Thread Herbert Schoenbohm
In my junk box I found two Mathey Video delay line passive control boxes with BNC connectors which can provide a switchable signal delay of 10 to 350ns. Would these be of any value in phasing two RX antennas and would they not perform at RF in the same manner that they do at video frequencies?
