Art, According to http://earthdirections.org/locate/ the Marshall Islands are about 286 degrees from Michigan. (16 degrees north of due west.) That doesn't necessarily indicate that their signal was coming directly from that azimuth. 73, Mike www.w0btu.com On Fri, Oct 23, 2015 at 12:54 PM, Art

I am curious what beam heading (for lack of a better term), you received them at this morning. I was unable to copy them on my SW BOG or on the Inv L, but had pretty decent copy on my OCF antenna at 50ft. The ends of the OCF are E/W. 73 Art NK8X Michigan ᐧ _ Topband Reflector

How well are they hearing central and eastern North America on 160? http://v73d.mydx.de doesn't list any RX antennas. 73, Mike www.w0btu.com On Fri, Oct 23, 2015 at 2:18 PM, Kenneth Grimm wrote: > I copied them briefly at sunrise in Virginia. The only beverage I could > hear

Art, V73D was in for a long time this morning from roughly 1100GMT to 1145GMT here in eastern VA. Signal reception was roughly from the west. They are clearly having difficulty with RX. Best luck to you . I hope you work them. 73, Tom WA2BCK -Original Message- From: Art Snapper

This morning I could hear them S5-6 on 80M and worked them there but they were clearly having trouble hearing. On 160M I couldn't hear them at all although I heard stations calling them around 1015UTC. Their web site says they have high noise levels on 80 and 160 from the resort hotel they are.

V73D best heard today (and most previous days) on SW setting on my K9AY loop. SP beam heading from my central California QTH to V7 is 267 degrees. V73D TB signals this AM (Friday) were light. I have listened to V73D on TB most days since they first came on. I can not recall a single day when
