On 160/80 meters how much RF power can RG8X coax safely handle and is 8 or
10 turns on a 6 diameter piece of PVC pipe sufficient for a feed line
choke. Run is about sixty feet long.

I think you would be better off with a ferrite core choke. Look at

Yes. Also see the Choke Cookbook in k9yc.com/RFI-Ham.pdf 16 turns of a
4 ft length of two parallel #12 THHN conductors connected as a section
of parallel wire line makes an excellent choke
I almost put a link to your info in my previous e-mail, Jim. That's where I
got the info to build the choke I use.
