Hi Scott, in order to prevent hijacking I would need to switch on moderation of all messages, which is certainly not in the interest of our community - it would lead to long delays before the messages appear, especially when I am away.
But to everyone: yes please create new message threads whenever you have a new topic, don't just hit reply to any incoming existing threads as this will mess up the mailing list archive (I see Rick has corrected this already).
