looks like at least an inconsistency in the W3C -and it does explain the
behaviour.
I'm playing with TreeDataProvider because I think I want to be able to
custom the default starting node in many cases...

this page is different from others: it is dynamically generated using
SWP and then also includes live examples that need to interact with the
TBC-ME server. So they need to be on localhost and we cannot really
cross-link to these pages from elsewhere. The Eclipse Help search index

It would be really helpful if TQ
a) autopushed these docs to a website so search engines could find stuff
b) incorporated these in the online help - making them
