I’ve used Irene's suggestion, but I’m not sure an artificial superclass can solve the problem of subclasses of a used class that are not to be used. I’ve never tried it. Also, it’s not quite as elegant to take an EDG-only approach for classes and a dash-based approach for properties. If we can
